The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa Transforms into Non-Gaming, Non-Smoking Property
The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa, located just steps from the Las Vegas Strip, has completed major renovations, transforming into the city’s newest non-gaming, non-smoking option, perfect for corporate travelers and leisure guests. Under the management of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the casino floor has been removed to make way for Jake & Eli, an original restaurant and lobby bar concept, as well as new and upgraded meeting spaces.

“Travelers often mix work and play when they come to Las Vegas, and our proximity to The Strip gives us the opportunity to offer an alternative to the typical casino property while staying true to The Westin brand,” said Lezlie Young, General Manager of The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa. “We are proud to unveil the new venues and upgraded amenities to best serve our guests. Plus, our new concierge team are Las Vegas experts who will anticipate guests’ every need, making everyone feel like a VIP.”

At the heart of the transformation is Jake & Eli, a vibrant culinary experience unique to The Westin Las Vegas. The restaurant is inspired by the imagined meeting of two innovators credited with being the first to create the much-loved concept of American bourbon. Guests can expect a mouth-watering mix of classic comfort food and signature cocktails. A décor featuring exposed brick walls, industrial chandeliers, high-top seating and plush booths creates a contemporary setting, perfect for business and leisure travelers alike.

Already a favorite destination for meeting planners and loyal members of SPG and Marriott Rewards, The Westin Las Vegas has added four new meeting rooms, located off the lobby, increasing its capacity by 20 percent. These flexible spaces are complete with custom catering options including a private buffet, signature menus from Jake & Eli, and a dedicated pre-function space, making this area the ideal spot for large and small business or social groups.

The new lobby-level design complements the previous enhancements made this year, which included updating the 826 guest rooms and suites and reimagining the Hibiscus Spa and Salon and Westin Workout Fitness Studio. The final phase of improvements, including the outdoor pool area, is expected to be completed by early 2018.
