“Third Thursday on 3rd” at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Returns August 17th with Five Gourmet Food Trucks, Secret Walls Epic Live Art Competition, DJ, Games and More
The third Thursday of the month in Downtown Las Vegas is now the official kick-off night to a foodtastic weekend. Having launched in July with over 750 foodies and art aficionados, the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino transforms Thursday nights into “Third Thursday on 3rd” – a food truck, live art, music and entertainment block party.

Returning on Thursday, August 17 from 7pm-10pm, this authentic roadside affair, located on the property’s 3rd Street corridor, will once again bring together some of the best artists and food truck vendors in the valley including; Truk-N-Yaki, Stripchezze, The Cookie Bar, Cousins Maine Lobster and Waffle Love.
While the scents of the food trucks will fill the air, a live illustration battle on the ground from Secret Walls, along with a DJ, street games and craft beers will ensure that a street party rules the night.

Headlining for the second straight event and armed with nothing more than black markers and acrylic paint, four Secret Walls artists will be given 90-minutes to leave their impression on the Downtown Grand in an all-out creative clash of artistic domination. With the DJ perched in the center of the action, and the thrill of watching freestyle artwork unfolding under the stars, the crowd will be witness to an epic illustration battle for the ages. Once completed, the oversize canvases will find a home in the Downtown Grand’s Commissary, home to eSports competitions, classic video games, full-bar and good grub.

While the Secret Walls artists are causing a visual ruckus, some of the city’s favorite food trucks will be serving up their classic curb side eats. Parked and ready to cater to the hungry masses, the trucks will be joined by craft beer offerings from the property’s Freedom Beat, as well as drink specials found throughout the property.
