TODAY: Vegas Golden Knights Foundation Ice Skating Benefit for Folded Flag Foundation
The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation is presenting an Ice Breaker Fundraiser event to benefit The Folded Flag Flag Foundation. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is donating $15,000 to the non-profit.
Proceeds from Family Foley Wine, will also benefit the organization. The Folded Flag Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves to honor the legacy of, and pay tribute to, the brave men and women who have given their lives in defense of our country. The Folded Flag Foundation mission is to provide educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the United States military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.
Vegas Golden Knights Foundation Ice Skating Benefit for Folded Flag Foundation
Since 2000, thousands of service members have given their lives in defense of our country leaving behind thousands of spouses and children who rely on government assistance programs that fall short of covering the total cost of their education. Since 2015, the Folded Flag Foundation has given out more than 200 scholarships totaling more than $2.1 million to Golf Star Families.
