The winning team will go on to face wizards Shimshi and Greg in a 70s-themed competition.

It will be hard to top last week’s super-controversial episode…but this one might do it. This is the ONLY episode of Wizard Wars in which you’ll see a magician stuffing a (fake) dove in his mouth AND you’ll see Wizard Shimshi dance his purple pants off, John Travolta-style.

“This has been an amazing season of Wizard Wars,” said series creator/producer Rick Lax. “Right now the Wizards are at 3 wins, 1 loss. And I know people are excited to see whether any of the Challengers can take the Wizards down before the season ends. We’ve gone up in the ratings the past two weeks, and a I’m reading a lot of tweets from people who are saying that Wizard Wars is their favorite show.”

Special congratulations goes to Wizard Billy Kidd, who won all three of her Wizard Wars, giving her a perfect Wizard record (though she did lose one round last season, as a challenger.) Also, special congratulations to Justin Flom who had a great appearance on The Late Late Show last week. He magically ripped his fingers off and made a packet of sugar teleport inside a borrowed dollar bill.

“As for me,” continued Lax, “I’ve been busy creating original magic for PenguinMagic.com, and sharing magic with the rest of the world. I appeared on Fox News to talk about magic and Intellectual Property Law, I wrote a piece for WIRED about Women in Magic… and last week I was lucky enough to see Mike Hammer’s show for the first time. He was great. So sharp, so quick, such strong magic. Hopefully we can get him on Wizard Wars one day.
