Tryst Nightclub Receives Surprise Performance from Rap Star Da Brat
Last night, partygoers at Tryst Nightclub were surprised with a guest performance by rap legend Shawntae Harris, better known as Da Brat.
The songstress arrived shortly after midnight with Tryst’s headlining DJ, Jermaine Dupri and an entourage to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The group was seated at an exclusive table where Da Brat enjoyed Cîroc Coconut libations and Dupri resumed his DJ duties in the open air booth situated in front of the swanky venue’s 90-foot cascading waterfall. Dupri tweeted earlier in the evening that it was Da Brat’s first Sin City adventure and inaugural visit to Tryst. Giving her the true Vegas welcome, he invited her to the stage for a surprise performance.
Da Brat and Dupri have a history of producing number one hits together including the remix of I Think They Like me, topping Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles. The two did a few spontaneous mixes for thousands of reveling clubgoers whereafter, Da Brat let Dupri handle dropping the beats and she returned to celebrating with the birthday group.
