Pro-BMX rider and television personality Ricardo Laguna recently visited Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book at SLS Las Vegas, where he, alongside Chef Thanawat Bates, created his prize-winning recipe in the #UmamiCelebrityChallenge: The Truffle Madness.

The competition, which challenged Las Vegas celebrities and headliners to create their own game day burger recipes from the restaurant’s list of premium ingredients, saw Laguna’s recipe beat out top challengers to be a featured menu item at Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book, where it will be available through Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Made with fried chicken breast, house truffle cheese, crushed avocado, dill pickles, bacon lardons, lettuce, minced onions, roasted tomato, shiitake mushroom, smoked-salt onion rings, tomato, truffled arugula, and roasted garlic aioli, The Truffle Madness topped competitors Jeff Civillico, X Burlesque, FANTASY and Chippendales, and was chosen by voters across social channels as the #UmamiCelebrityChallenge grand champion.
