Village People, Gloria Gaynor and Other ‘70s Icons Get Funky at the KKLZ Disco Ball July 11 at the Orleans Arena

Disco Ball guests can “shake their grove thang” to the anthems of the ‘70s when headliners Village People and Gloria Gaynor take center stage at Orleans Arena on July 11.

Village People, the disco-era legends that take the stage dressed as an Indian chief, G.I., construction worker, cop, cowboy and biker, have been entertaining audiences with hits such as “Macho Man,” “In The Navy” and “YMCA” for three decades.

Gaynor, known the world over for “I Will Survive,” has been setting the dance music standard for more than 35 years. Her hits include “Never Can Say Good-Bye” and “Just Keep Thinkin’ About You,” among others.

Tavares will also perform, as well as The Trammps, adding to the evening’s disco inferno.
