Virgil’s at The LINQ Promenade Now Serving Breakfast & Brunch
Virgil’s Real Barbecue at The LINQ Promenade is now serving breakfast daily, along with a weekend brunch (Pictured: Virgil’s Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit).
The new menus include eye-opening morning cocktails, savory and sweet offerings and several dishes incorporating the restaurant’s signature meats, which are smoked at a low temperature over indirect heat for up to ten hours with a unique mix of hickory, oak and fruit woods to impart the most flavor and to keep the meat from drying out.
Biscuit egg sandwiches feature options including cheese, bacon or smoked brisket, as well as a country chicken fried steak biscuit with country gravy for a true Southern start. A chargrilled 10 oz New York Strip with eggs and fried chicken and waffle make for hearty options. Chocolate chip and mixed fresh berry buttermilk pancakes and an oversized yogurt parfait round out sweet selections.
Lunch favorites including Memphis style pork ribs, BBQ nachos, and sandwiches such as the brisket melt along with a BBQ salad are also available for brunch.
Virgil’s award-winning Big Bloody Bull Rider, a bloody Mary with homemade beef jerky, jalapeno olives, a dry rub rim that can be loaded with a BBQ chicken wing, bacon, grilled shrimp and brisket is the ultimate wake up call. Those needing a caffeinated start to the day can turn to Bubba’s Country Coffee, which kicks up morning brew with Old Forester Bourbon and Bailey’s topped with whipped cream and Nilla Wafers. A bottomless Virgil’s Ale is available during brunch for $18.
Breakfast is offered Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to noon.
