Visiting Las Vegas? The Excalibur Hotel is a Great Place to Stay

Las Vegas is truly one of the greatest cities on the planet and is one of those places that is on the majority of people’s bucket lists all over the world. Vegas sees more than 40 million people travel to the state of Nevada each year and is home to some of the greatest casino venues on the planet.

The MGM Grand, Caesars Palace and the Bellagio are among Las Vegas’ most famous casino establishments and the three venues stand tall on the Vegas skyline. It’s a truly magical place and the majority of people who visit once are often tempted into returning to Las Vegas in some capacity in later life.

There are plenty of excellent hotels throughout the city that provide tourists with excellent service and accessibility to Vegas’ stunning casinos but the Excalibur Hotel, based on the south end of the strip, is one of the best locations and attractions for younger people. At a reasonable price, tourists are on Vegas’ doorstep and can access the biggest and best clubs in just a matter of minutes. Here are just a few of the reasons why you should consider the Excalibur Hotel as the place to stay when you visit Las Vegas in the future.

Size, convenience and accessibility

With over 4,000 bedrooms, Excalibur is huge and is a vibrant hub of activity. With over 100,000 square-feet of gaming space, there is always something for visitors to do – whether they enjoy a few spins on the roulette tables or a meal in one of the fine restaurants – and some rarely leave the hotel during their visit, such is the quality of Excalibur’s services. Furthermore, you can choose to stay in one of Vegas’ fine Tower rooms or Contemporary Tower rooms if you’d prefer a modern style. For those who want complete luxury, the Guest Suites are also available and these can include living rooms, dining areas and even a guest bathroom.

In terms of convenience, you’re right on Las Vegas’ doorstep. While it may be loud and exciting, you can easily venture outside and explore Las Vegas’ rich history and culture. The city is your oyster and you can explore all of the major sights, including the Stratosphere – which is home to one of the tallest roller coasters in the world at 900 feet high – and the Fremont Street Experience. There are plenty of sights to see and there are a number of Las Vegas sightseeing tour buses that can help to show you more of the city.

It has its own casino and nightclub area

Excalibur is complete with its very own casino and nightclubs, meaning that you can still soak up Las Vegas’ incredible vibe from the comfort of your own hotel. The casino offers the very best casino games, including many of those that are offered at online websites such as Betfair Casino so you could try your luck before visiting and learn all you need to know. The likes of blackjack, roulette and poker are all common and can be enjoyed at Excalibur while tourists can visit the Race and Sports Book for those who prefer to place a wager on sports, including soccer, professional and college football and baseball.

Meanwhile, the nightclub and bar area is colossal and there are plenty of places to choose from. Depending on your taste and mood, there are numerous bars that cater for thousands of tourists every year. With some clubs open 24 hours a day, the party never stops and The Lounge has live music between 10pm and 1am from Thursday to Sunday. Meanwhile, Octane Lounge offers a slightly more chilled vibe and is an excellent place to enjoy a relaxed drink before taking in one of Vegas’ fabulous shows. There truly is a plethora of activities on offer and you can always explore the Fun Dungeon if you have children with you.

There are a wide range of restaurants on offer

At Excalibur, you won’t go hungry – that’s a fact. There are eateries for all tastes and cater for all ages. For those who enjoy traditional American food, you can experience succulent hamburgers at Johnny Rockets or, for those who prefer spicy cuisine, you can visit Baja Fresh Mexican Grill. For those who like a bit of everything, the All New Buffet has six food stations and serves food from all over the world. This restaurant is particularly good for larger groups who are struggling to agree on a single cuisine. At $24 – and $10 for unlimited draft lager and house wine – it is excellent value for money and certainly worth checking out during your time at Excalibur.

Dick’s Last Resort is highly regarded by those who have visited and will impress those who enjoy unusual dining experiences. The waiters and waitresses will serve you throughout the evening but will make wisecracks and jokes so you must have a strong sense of humour to endure the evening’s chitchat. The food is supposedly sensational and, with live music at weekends, there’s definitely a unique atmosphere that you will struggle to find elsewhere. Finally, for those of you who prefer to stay in and relax with a movie, there is room service. You can enjoy a quick snack, a gourmet meal or even breakfast. The staff at Excalibur will always cater to your requests and you are truly treated like royalty throughout your stay. Importantly, the food is delicious and the eateries regularly receive exceptional reviews. From the tweet below, you can see the kind of service that you receive at Dick’s Last Resort.
