Vocal Powerhouse Rockapella Performs at Sam’s Town Live! in Las Vegas Sept. 2
The dynamic a capella group Rockapella will bring their melodic harmonies to Sam’s Town Live! at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall on Saturday, Sept. 2.
Formed in 1986, Rockapella has become one of the most influential a capella groups in vocal music history. With no tracks or instruments utilized, Rockapella’s members skillfully use their voices to produce their unique full-band sound. Given their vocal talents, the quintet continues to impress fans with their original pop songs, and contemporary covers of classic Motown hits, and top songs from the pop and soul genres. Rockapella has also received praise from both USA Today and The New York Times for their vocal talents and entertaining, high-energy performances.
To date, Rockapella has released 19 albums, and continues to tour around the world, performing their most celebrated hits and covers. Most recently, the a capella stars released their original hit song “Workin My Way to You.”
The current lineup marks the new generation of Rockapella and includes Scott Leonard (High Tenor Vocalist), Jeff Thacher (Vocal Percussionist), Calvin Jones (Tenor), Mitchell Rains (Tenor) and Bryant Vance (Bass Vocalist).
