WAVVES Closes Out Dew Championships at The Joint

Wavves are a lo-fi/noise pop band based in San Diego, California. They are currently signed to Fat Possum Records. Wavves latest album, entitled King of the Beach, released on August 3, 2010, features the latest lineup of Nathan Williams, Billy Hayes, and Stephen Pope. The majority of the songs are written by Williams, with Pope contributing one song and Hayes contributing two. The album was critically acclaimed, receiving positive reviews from the likes of Paste Magazine, Dusted Magazine, and The Onion’s A.V. Club. The album received an average of 74 out of 100 on Metacritic, based on 26 critics reviews. — Wikipedia
