According to the information provided by www.casinomagasinet.com, SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING will take place on Saturday, Jan 26 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas live on SHOWTIME, headlined by Argentinean knockout artist Lucas Matthysse against Mike “The Silent Assassin” Dallas Jr., followed by welterweight warriors Selcuk Aydin and Jesus Soto Karass, furthermore the casino will present a non-title attraction between undefeated Jr. middleweight Jermell Charlo on an opponent yet to be named.
The casino event will include a non-televised bout for the WBO Asia Pacific Jr. Welterweight title between Chad Bennett and Ben Ankrah.
The gala at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be divided into 3 main fights:
1. The main fight will include WBC Interim Super Lightweight champion Lucas Matthysse fighting against California based Mike “The Silent Assassin” Dallas Jr.
2. The second fight will place the Turkish-German Selcuk Aydin who holds both European WBC International and WBC Silver titles against Mexico’s Jesus Soto Karass, a 30 year old with 11 years on the ring.
a. A surprise fight will take place between Houston’s Jermell Charlo, a talented 22-year-old youngster known as the “Iron Man”, against a surprise fighter.
3. For the final fight, the casino will present Australia’s Chad “Hollywood” Bennett facing Ghana’s Ben Ankrah, a 33 year old knockout fighter with 12 years in the ring.
