Weekends at Luxor Heat up with Return of "Temptation Sundays" - Popular LGBTQ Pool Party May 13

 continues to make Sunday the hottest day of the week with Temptation Sundays starting May 13. The original, longest-running gay pool party in Las Vegas returns for its ninth season with weekly parties through September 2. 

Hosted by J.Son of Nakedboynews.com, the energetic atmosphere at Luxor’s North Pool will entice tourists and locals alike to take part in the only weekly LGBTQ-focused pool party on The Strip.

DJ Mattmon will be the resident DJ this summer and guest DJs will make special appearances throughout the season. Scheduled events are as follows with additional special events still to be announced:

  • May 13: Opening Day with DJ Morningstar
  • May 20: EDC Weekend with DJ Pacifico
  • May 27: Memorial Day Weekend with DJ Casey Alva
  • July 1: Independence Day Weekend with DJ Morningstar
  • July 29: Ninth Anniversary Celebration with Chi Chi Larue
  • August 19: Tempter Fashion Show with DJ Chyld
  • September 2: Labor Day Weekend with DJ Pacifico

Temptation Sundays take place from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. with doors opening at noon on special weekends: May 13, Opening Weekend; May 20, EDC Weekend; and May 27, Memorial Day Weekend.

General admission to Temptation Sundays is $20. MGM Resorts guests, locals, military and emergency service members can enjoy the party with a discounted admission of $10. For complimentary entry before 2 p.m., guests may visit facebook.com/luxorlgbt and sign up for the event guest list.

For an elevated experience at Temptation Sundays, guests can take advantage of one of 15 cabanas starting at $450 each, which includes entry for up to six guests, four plush lounge chairs, a misting system and a mini-fridge. Fabulous sun seekers also may reserve daybeds starting at $250 or padded VIP chairs with umbrellas starting at $125.
