Kicking off the festivities Friday, April 28, DJ Shift took over the DJ booth while Hot 100 contestants strutted their stuff for the crowd. The bikini-clad ladies competed in Round 2 of the fierce summer competition, in the hopes of being named Vegas’ Hot 100 and taking home up to $2,000 in cash and prizes.

Continuing the celebration, international DJ sensation, Steve Aoki, headed to the daylife destination Saturday, April 29. Just before Aoki’s set, poolgoers were asked to look to the sky for a special surprise. Patrons were shocked to see five skydivers from Red Bull Air Force jumping out of a plane, one with a giant WET 10 flag in tow. The crowd was in awe as the jumpers made their descent over the venue before landing just outside Wet Republic, commemorating the start of the season. The high-energy crowd amplified as Aoki took to the stage and played his chart-topping hits for the masses. Wet Republic was a sight to see as guests kept the party going into the early hours of the evening.

Rounding out the monumental Grand Opening Weekend, Lil Jon took over the DJ booth during an epic event Sunday, April 30. Champagne filled the air and patrons were soaked in the bubbly spirit as they danced along with Lil Jon’s hit songs and enjoyed Wet Republic’s unrivaled industry party, “Endless Sunday.” Closing down the action-packed weekend, the artist kept everyone in full party mode until the sun set on the iconic daylife destination.
