Wet‘N’Wild Las Vegas Focuses on Celebrating Educational Achievements with CCSD Events and Free Entry for Straight-A Students
Summer is upon us, and with the school year ending, Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas has announced that youths who worked extra hard at school throughout the year will get a special treat.

The park will reward Southern Nevada students for putting their best foot forward during the school year with two special events and promotions.

The first will honor students who received straight-As on their year-end report cards. They need to present their report cards at any ticket window at the water park to receive a one-time, free general admission ticket. This offer is good for K-12 students during the 2016 season.

The park will also host the CCSD Drive for Excellence Awards event beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 31. The event invites more than 300 local high school seniors with a grade point average of 3.75 or higher and perfect attendance record for the year to enjoy the park and celebrate the academic excellence. Students will be eligible to be entered into a raffle where they could win a car.

In addition to giving a free one-time entry to straight-A students, the park will host a special Grad Nite after-hours event for local high school seniors. The event will feature an exclusive performance from singer Kat DeLuna. Admission is $15 per person, or $24.99 per person with an all-you-can-eat buffet option featuring burgers, hot dogs and unlimited soda. Seniors can purchase tickets in advance online at www.wetnwildlasvegas.com using the promo code: GRAD. A limited number of same day tickets will be available at the gate.  Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.  All guests will be required to show student ID upon entry.  The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 31.

“Getting good grades takes commitment and dedication and is something worthy of acknowledging. Providing free park entry allows us to honor all the kids who excelled in school and creates a great way for families and friends to build lasting memories,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas. “In addition, we have been asked by the community for the last few years to host a grad night.  We look forward to helping graduating seniors celebrate this noteworthy accomplishment in a fun-filled and safe special event.”
