An icon of pop culture for his beloved image as a musical outlaw, Willie Nelson is also an accomplished songwriter, performer, actor and social activist with his own distinct place in the history of American entertainment.

American icon Willie Nelson has recorded 81 studio albums, released 97 singles and crafted 22 number one records in his history as one of the top musicians in America. Famous for smash hits like “On the Road Again,” “Crazy,” “Always On My Mind,” “Blue Skies,” “If You’ve Got the Money I’ve Got the Time” and “Nothing I Can Do About It Now,” the eight-time Country Music Award and 10-time Grammy Award-winning star has been a household name for almost six decades. His musical collaborations include work with Waylon Jennings, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ray Charles, Kenny Chesney and Johnny Cash.

Willie Nelson has scored 10 platinum albums and been the subject of four books. In addition, his time with country supergroup, the Highwaymen, added another platinum album and number one record to his impressive list of accomplishments. Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses, a Los Angeles-based band known for their pensive ballads and poignant sounds of Americana, will open for Willie Nelson. Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses have released two critically-acclaimed albums, Mescalito in 2007 and Roadhouse Sun in 2009. Their third album, Junky Star, is set to debut in September 2010. Ryan Bingham was most recently honored with an Academy Award for “The Weary Kind,” his hauntingly beautiful theme song to the film, Crazy Heart.
