The three-time Grammy Award-winning reggae and hip-hop crossover artist who broke onto the music scene with The Fugees, alongside Lauryn Hill and Pras, is making his premiere performance at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas in the wake of his most recent projects and collaborative successes. His new album, “Clefication,” features compilations with Afrojack, Emeli Sandé, and multi-platinum DJ/recording artist Avicii and continues to demonstrate the chameleonic nature of Wyclef’s sensibilities as a musician.

“The music I’m making, it’s sounding like the 90s meets 2015,” said Wyclef of the evolution of his sound. “It’s very authentic and all about the vocality, making people feel and reminisce off of that sound they love but combining it with new sonics.”

With 10 Grammy Award nominations and 11 albums to his credit, along with a well-documented history of political and civil rights activism, Wyclef continues to evolve and adapt his music and influences, intertwining ever-present themes of love, life and politics into the sounds that resonate with his audience today.

Doors for Wyclef at The Bowl open at 8 p.m. This show is for ages 18 and up. Tickets start at $35 (plus applicable service fees) and are on sale to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. at the Brooklyn Bowl box office, by calling 877.987.6487 or online at http://ticketf.ly/1JsDBzO.
