Wynn Las Vegas Transforms into a Winter Wonderland with Festive and Ornate Holiday Décor
Wynn Las Vegas
and Encore officially welcome the holiday season with the unveiling of their dazzling holiday décor. As guests make their way through the resort they are immersed in a winter village including festive holiday vignettes and sugary displays (Pictured: Gingerbread Tower – Photo credit: Jeff Green)

Upon entering Wynn, guests are greeted by five miniature Christmas villages prominently displayed in the Atriums adjacent to Main Registration. Conceptualized by Roger Thomas, executive vice president of Wynn Design and Development (WDD), and WDD Creative Director Alex Woodmaster, the intricately detailed displays are inspired by the classic novel Gulliver’s Travels. Adorned in white and gold, each village tells a story of the magic which is found within its walls and are reminiscent of experiences found at Wynn, from delicious desserts in the Village of Plips to Mildendo’s one-of-a kind nightlife.

The winter wonderland continues into Wynn’s retail windows which feature snowy vignettes and specialty holiday items that are perfect for gift giving. Visit the main resort window across from the casino floor to see a glamourous take on ice fishing. The above and below pond view showcases Judith Leiber bags as the catch of the day in this festive display. Travel to the Encore Esplanade for an enchanted winter forest displaying designer pieces from Badgley Mischka and Carolina Herrera. The popular candy brand Sugarfina takes center stage in two holiday windows – in the Encore Esplanade see a jolly snowman made completely of candy and in the Wynn Esplanade peek into Jack Frost’s candy factory. Other windows throughout the resort include vacationing penguins, an icy island of toys from Tiny Treasures and bikini clad skiers wearing pieces exclusively designed for Wynn by Luli Fama.

Wynn’s Master Cake Artist, Flora Aghababyan, has once again adorned The Buffet with an intricate gingerbread sculpture which places Wynn Las Vegas amidst a snowy holiday scene. The elaborate 360 degree piece features the hotel situated next to a large ice mountain topped with holiday gifts, festively dressed penguins, Santa’s sleigh, the Grinch, and a moving train. The edible sculpture is crafted from 35 pounds of gingerbread, 30 pounds of fondant and 25 pounds of chocolate.

Guests may view the holiday décor throughout the property now through the first week of January.
