Wynn Resorts Donates Free Tickets for Community to Attend Annual Día del Niño Event
Wynn Resorts
announced it donated more than 500 tickets for the general public to attend this year’s Día del Niño (“Children’s Day”), taking place at the Springs Preserve on Saturday, April 28.

500 free advance tickets courtesy of Wynn Resorts are available to viewers of KINC TV Univision and KBLR TV Telemundo, as well as listeners of Univision Radio, Entravision Radio and Lotus Broadcasting.

Proactively supporting diversity and expanding charitable efforts in the community is a primary goal of Wynn’s Culture and Community Department.

“Wynn Resorts chose to support this exciting event to celebrate children and families in our local community,” said Wynn Resorts Vice President of Culture & Community Corrine Clement.  “Doing what we can to better the lives of others is part of the Wynn employee culture and we’re thrilled to be a part of this initiative.”

Chef Devin Hashimoto of Wynn Las Vegas will join families at 3:25 p.m. at the Garden Amphitheatre to demonstrate how to make granola peanut butter banana pops, a treat his children enjoy making as well.

Wynn Resorts is also sponsoring a hands-on art workshop for the attending families, where participants will learn how to use sponges and brushes to create textures as well as how to combine colors. Led by a local Hispanic artist, experienced and novice artists are invited to create an abstract hand painting at 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m.

Now in its ninth year, the event will also feature live entertainment, magicians, interactive games, a petting zoo, face painting, art workshops, cooking demos, traditional food and drinks and more.
