Chef Gremo’s reputation precedes him and his association with a myriad of famous celebrity chefs coupled with his amazing ability to educate so many up and coming chefs in the industry made him the perfect selection to create the diverse and affordable 17° South menu. The starters range from Shrimp Cocktail to Chicken Wings and begin at just $8. Specialty pizzas include create-your-own options and begin at only $11. The specialty burgers, all made with incomparable beef from the famed La Frieda meat purveyors out of New Jersey, are $12 and include tasty garlic fries or regular fries.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this new culinary experience at Tahiti Village and am happy to share some new menu items with our guests, tourists visiting Las Vegas and our locals,” said Chef Gremo. Todd Spector, President of Somerpointe Resorts who owns Tahiti Village added, “We knew we needed the right person to help us put 17° South on the map. As it is our first foray into a dining experience which will serve a much larger population, the team worked tirelessly to design and perfect a menu, which was panel tested on numerous occasions prior to opening, to ensure we selected the perfect items which Chef Gremo would be proud to introduce to our very diversified customer base.”

The All Day menu starts at $7 and includes a chopped mix green salad, sandwiches, steak and the comfort food options of fish and chips as well as the signature spaghetti and meatballs. The “bits and bites” portion of the menu offers ribs, mac and cheese with ham and crab cakes; and items on this portion begin at just $5. “We wanted the fare to be special, diverse, offer a little of something for everyone and most importantly be welcoming to all and affordable to the entire dining community we serve,” Chef Gremo added about the menu and pricing.

Special events will be held every few months and will revolve around the culinary community of Las Vegas including fundraising for worthwhile causes, celebrity chef get-togethers and special dining options and diverse private gatherings as booked.

Reservations are not necessary and the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The bar is open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily. Located in the floor to ceiling windowed eastern corner of the main lobby of Tahiti Village, 17° South offers a gorgeous outside deck (complete with televisions so you will not miss your favorite game) along with spectacular views of the immense main pool and lushly landscaped courtyard. 17° South’s new design and décor is welcoming and relaxing and also includes table top gaming and two slot machines if that is more your gaming style. The restaurant/bar seats 80 indoors and another 30 on the outdoor deck.
