Now open at its namesake location, 7th & Carson Bar and Restaurant brings new life to a familiar Downtown Las Vegas corner. Described as “a nice little drinking spot with really great food,” the new neighborhood haunt sits adjacent to the popular Downtown Container Park (Pictured: Wood Roasted Beet Salad).

The vision of long-time hospitality operator, Liam Dwyer, 7th & Carson is designed to serve as a social hub for friends to gather and enjoy great drinks, good conversation and delicious small plates meant for sharing. The atmosphere is cozy and approachable as are the price points.

“Guests are invited to come in for a few pints or a cocktail, have a few great plates and enjoy the neighborhood vibe,” says Dwyer, 7th & Carson owner-operator. “We want to complement our neighbors’ offerings and contribute to the overall sense of community in Downtown Vegas, but with our own special flare and some really great food.”

Designed by Executive Chef Gregg Fortunato, the culinary program at 7th & Carson is comprised of simple, approachable ingredients combined to create fun flavors in an assortment of shareable plates. Familiar items from the oven, garden, land and sea receive a new and playful twist. The Carson Fried Chicken Wings come extra crispy, dusted with a tangy spice blend and a side of house-made honey habanero hot sauce. A menu of toasts fired in the hearth oven include the decadent White Truffle Toast on wood-fired garlic bread with Gouda fondue. The Duckling Pot Pie features an adorable duo of bite-sized, buttery pastry puffs filled with tender duck leg and wood-roasted vegetables. Each item on the menu is fashioned to create a fun and social dining experience for the table.
Guests enter 7th & Carson directly into the lush patio garden that sits opposite the Container Park. Fresh herbs hang from the walls and green foliage lines the brick enclosed outdoor dining area. Guests may dine al fresco under the sparkling lights or opt to dine inside the vibrant and cozy main dining room. Open seating is available at the counter of the exhibition hearth oven or at the bar, where patrons can enjoy perfectly crafted cocktails, crossroads cuisine and lively conversation.
Dwyer brings to 7th & Carson an experienced team of hospitality veterans focused on delivering exceptional service in an inviting, friendly environment that makes first-time customers become frequent patrons. In addition to Chef Fortunato, Jennifer Tramaglino joins the 7th & Carson team as the director of marketing and will contribute to the overall programming of the space including the live entertainment and DJ sets planned for Monday and Thursday nights.
