9th Bridge School’s 3rd Annual Kidz Street Festival Presented by Zappos Returns Oct. 6
Las Vegas’ premier early childhood to elementary school, 9th Bridge School, will host its 3rd annual Kidz Street STEAM inspired block party presented by Zappos. The Kidz Street festival aims to showcase downtown Las Vegas as a family-friendly destination and helps raise funds for the enrichment and professional development programs at 9th Bridge School.

On Saturday, October 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 9th Bridge School in partnership with Zappos will transform The Lot at the Western in downtown Las Vegas into a family friendly, community focused block party! Part festival, part day camp, 9th Bridge School’s Kidz Street fundraising event hosts various activities and games reflective of the school’s STEAM based learning curriculum. Throughout the day, children and families will be able to engage with local sponsors and organizations focusing on a range of initiatives from STEAM education, sustainability, wellness and art in an effort to cultivate independent thinkers and creative problem solvers.
Tinker Lab
Families will be able to engage in various hands-on activities based in science, technology and engineering, including beginning programming and building simple machines!
Interactive Alley
Kidz Street’s ‘Interactive Alley’ shows the importance of play in education. Through play, children encounter, analyze and solve problems without even realizing they’re building the foundation to future life skills. The space will feature rides, a rock climbing wall, obstacle courses, a trackless train and petting zoo from Petting Zoo 2 U!
The Food Hub
At the Food Hub, families will be able to learn gardening practices, participate in nutritional education and enjoy local food options focusing on the importance of nutrition and setting them up for successful choices as it pertains to their health!
Artist’s Area
In the Artist’s Area, creative expression is encouraged and cultivated. Children will create and decorate make-and-take pieces of art while special guest face painters and balloon artists from Balloons With A Twist add to the fun.
Toddler Town
For children 2 and younger, Toddler Town serves as a specialized play area that encourages exploration and expression in an age appropriate environment. This area is perfect for families with children in a variety of age ranges.
Early bird all-access wristbands for unlimited rides, games, and activities are available for $35.00. Tickets and wristbands will also be available for purchase upon entry the day of the event. Day-of pricing includes $5.00 entry and $1.00 tickets (rides and games require 1-5 tickets), $20.00 unlimited rides wristbands with included entry, and $40.00 unlimited rides, games and activities wristbands with included entry.
