A Super-Sized Second Year – Tacos and Tamales Festival Takes Over Sunset Park March 30
Let’s ‘taco-bout’ the return of the Tacos and Tamales Festivalpresented by Clark County Parks & Recreation, on Saturday, March 30. This Mexi-cellent food festival returns for its second year at Sunset Park from noon until 8 p.m., with a wide array of food offerings, a mojito, margarita and craft beer tasting, live music, Lucha Libre wresting exhibitions, carnival rides and kids’ activities. Admission and parking into the event is free and open to all ages.

The Tacos and Tamales Festival will feature more than 40 local restaurants and food trucks showcasing their taco and tamale creations from traditional to multicultural fusion to totally insane! Additionally, the event will feature a Vegan Village, an exclusively vegan area with some of the valley’s most popular plant-based vendors from Las Vegas and Southern California, offering their vegan-spin on traditional Mexican cuisine.

Tantalize your taste buds in the Mojito, Margarita and Craft Brew Tasting Garden just steps away from the food festival. The tasting experience will feature unlimited samples of more than 50 different varieties of margaritas, mojitos, sangrias, beers, wines and spirits. Tickets to the Tasting Garden are $35 per person and can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com.

Live entertainment on the Findlay Chevrolet Stage will include Viernes13, Left Alone, Chencha, Muertos Heist, No Que No, Los Carajos and the Exa 94.5 FM Stage will feature Doctor Histeria, Samy Gana and Teddy Paz, Volume 1 and La La Reggae.

Lucha Libre Las Vegas will showcase the talents of some of their biggest and most exciting stars such as Durango Kid, Juventud Guerrero, Leopardo Diamonte, Lil Cholo, Mariachi Loco, Matematico, Ricky Mundo, Sam Adonis, Sinn Bodhi and more.

Additional activities available at the festival include carnival games such as a full carousel, Typhoon ride, bounce houses and plenty of sweet-treat vendors. Additional fees may apply.
