Adam Kutner Cares Donates $25,000 to Kick Off Make-A-Wish Media Campaign
Prominent local attorney Adam Kutner has announced the beginning of a media campaign to support Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada’s newly re-imagined Wishmaker Club, a monthly-giving program that helps fulfill life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses (Pictured: Attorney Adam Kutner with Make-A-Wish recipient Abigail).

The generous contribution to support this new campaign is being coordinated through the Nevada Broadcasters Association’s Public Education Partnership program, which augments the radio and television schedule with donated inventory provided by broadcast members.

The Wishmaker Club is an easy way for southern Nevada individuals, organizations, and companies to make monthly contributions that, combined, will make a significant annual impact. For example, just $10 per month can provide a VIP experience and limousine ride for a child to a chosen activity or destination; $25 per month can provide accessories for a wish child’s room makeover; and $100 per month would provide airfare to meet a celebrity hero.

“All children need to dream,” said Kutner, “And they need to know that their dreams can actually happen.  This is especially true for children who are facing critical and life-threatening illnesses.  They have a tougher life than we can imagine, and as a community, we must come together to show that we also care. I hope this promotional campaign will raise awareness and build ongoing support to fulfill the wishes of these remarkable and courageous children.”

For Adam Kutner and his team, community involvement is a passion.  He provides support in many forms to the most vulnerable of the community and hopes to inspire others to become involved as well.  Adam Kutner Cares was created to spotlight opportunities to give back to Las Vegas, through the support of charities such as Opportunity Village, Three Square Food Bank, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, and now Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada.

Some of the wishes granted through Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada are truly priceless. Two boys, one with a heart condition, the other with a blood disorder, wanted to skate with Marc-Andre Fleury of the Vegas Golden Knights. A young girl with cancer wished to be an inventor and was whisked off to Singularity University in the Silicon Valley to meet artificial intelligence engineers. A teenager with leukemia who dreams of being a pilot flew from takeoff to landing in Allegiant’s state-of-the-art flight simulator and was made an honorary first officer.

“A wish leaves a lasting impact on the wish child, their family, and the community at large,” said Caroline Ciocca, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada.  “Our vision is to grant the wish of every eligible child in our community.  The support provided by Adam Kutner and other donors just like him is an investment in hope, strength, and joy to make sure more people know about our mission, and ensure that the critically ill children of our community get the emotional medicine they need.”
