All Star Band to Entertain at Veterans Village Make It Rain Event April 7
All Star Band, Jet Velocity, featuring Jason Ebs (KISS’ Peter Criss Band, ECOTONIC), Janea Chadwick Ebsworth (Joe Cocker, Kenny Loggins, ECOTONIC), Grammy Award winner Bob Kulick (Meatloaf, KISS), Lez Warner (The Cult) and Barry Barnes (Count’s 77), will perform as the house band for Veterans Village Make It Rain event this Monday, April 7, 2014, 11am to 6pm (Photo credit: Julie Bergonz Photography).
Seasoned musicians came together as Jet Velocity for the first time back in December 2013 at LVH for the 5th Annual US Marine Corps Toys For Tots Celebrity Benefit. The reception to the band was overwhelming and offers to perform for local charity, private and corporate events have steadily poured in.
Lez Warner, drummer for Jet Velocity, veteran of the Las Vegas music scene and Rock Star Counselor at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, has high hopes for this project. “There is a philanthropic purpose behind the band. We have all been lucky enough to earn a living here in Vegas doing what we love, playing music. Collectively, we look at Jet Velocity as an opportunity to give back to our community, by providing an engaging live show for event supporters” said Warner.
In addition to Jet Velocity, the Make It Rain event will feature a Meet and Greet with the cast members of Raiding The Rock Vault, many local entertainers, a barbeque, local and national media, local dignitaries, elected officials, other surprise guests and US Veterans taking part in this massive water donation being made by Clearly Zero.
