Aussie Heat to Host “Vegas Variety Show” to Benefit Opportunity Village August 24, 2019
Aussie Heat, Las Vegas’ most hands-on male revue, will host and produce an entertainment industry showcase – the second annual Vegas Variety Show – at Opportunity Village’s Ralph & Betty Engelstad Campus on Saturday, August 24, to benefit adults with disabilities in Southern Nevada.
The event, which is open to the public, starts at 5 p.m. and is suited for all ages. The Vegas Variety Show will feature several Las Vegas Strip entertainers, including dancers from SEXXY at Westgate Las Vegas, magician David Goldrake, performers from Blond Invasion The Show, singer Emily Blick, dancer George Blick, vocal trio The Swing It! Girls, and more! Individuals from Opportunity Village’s Fine & Performing Arts program will also join Aussie Heat on stage at the Opportunity Village Engelstad Campus, located at 6050 S. Buffalo Drive.

Since debuting in Las Vegas in 2015, Aussie Heat has supported many Las Vegas not-for-profit organizations including Opportunity Village, where they teach monthly lessons to adults with intellectual disabilities and donate a portion of their nightly merchandise sales.
“We are honored to be producing and hosting Opportunity Village’s ‘Vegas Variety Show,’ for the second year,” said Adam Barr of Aussie Heat. “We will showcase a diverse collection of performers from around the world who perform nightly, right here in Las Vegas. We hope everyone comes out to join us for an incredible afternoon of entertainment, while supporting Opportunity Village’s unparalleled Fine & Performing Arts program.”
“Aussie Heat has been so gracious to Opportunity Village since first coming on a tour in 2015, and we couldn’t be more excited to co-host the second annual Vegas Variety Show with them,” said Sarah Quinn, Assistant Director of Program Services at Opportunity Village. “This year’s show will be jam-packed with a variety of Strip performers and it promises to deliver all the excitement and heart-tugging emotions. Our clients are ready!”
Vegas Variety Show tickets can be purchased for $6 at this link or $10 at the door, and food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. All proceeds from the event will benefit Opportunity Village’s Fine & Performing Arts Program.
The Fine & Performing Arts Program serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in music, dance, theater and visual art. The program was designed to increase individual’s awareness of the arts, support their creative passions and offer individualized and group training, while promoting self-expression, social interaction and the development of peer relationships. Aussie Heat performs Thursday-Sunday at 10:30 p.m. at the V Theater inside Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops.
