“Bar Rescue” star Jon Taffer meets with Children from St. Jude’s Ranch at Toys ‘R Us
Las Vegas local Jon Taffer, host of the popular television show ‘Bar Rescue’ and an award-winning nightclub and bar consultant, has given children of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children the chance to pay it forward and feel the holiday spirit by purchasing presents for themselves and for others this holiday season (Pictured: Nicole Taffer, Jon Taffer and Chef Vic Vegas).
While Jon transforms people’s lives every week on his show, he has extended a similar type of opportunity to abused, neglected and homeless children, showing them how to receive and give.
Jon surprises St. Jude’s Ranch for Children with a $10,000 check
On December 5, 2015, Jon met 16 St. Jude’s Ranch children, aged seven to 13, at Toys ‘R Us located at 1425 West Sunset Road, Henderson, Nev. They enjoyed a meet and greet with donuts and juice. Jon gave each child $50 to purchase a gift for themselves and $50 more to purchase a gift for someone special in their life. Each child had a volunteer personal shopper to help them shop for an hour, and after, Jon took holiday photos with the group.
Jon also surprised St. Jude’s Ranch for Children with a $10,000 check!

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is a 501(c)(3) organization that saves the lives of traumatized children. The charity helps abused, neglected and homeless children and young adults, ages 0 to 25, by providing customized therapy and tools to break the cycle of abuse, as well as by keeping families and siblings together. The ultimate goal is to help these individuals find a forever family or achieve self-sufficiency. Approximately 60% of the children have been physically abused, 40% sexually abused, many have suffered both physical and sexual abuse, and 100% have been neglected.
