BlogWorld & New Media Expo Announces Blockbuster Keynote Schedule

BlogWorld & New Media Expo, the first and only conference dedicated to blogging and new media, announced today the lineup of keynote speakers scheduled to take center stage in Las Vegas – an all-star list of new media mavericks, experts, and visionaries that includes Richard Jalichandra, Timothy Ferriss, and Gary Vaynerchuk. He was also co-founder and a former chief executive officer of Red Herring Communications, Inc.

Anil Dash is chief evangelist at Six Apart, where he’s played a formative role in helping create the world’s leading blogging company. Called a “legendary blogger” by the Houston Chronicle, Anil is a recognized expert on blogs, web technology, web culture and the software industry. Timothy Ferriss is author of the #1 New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and BusinessWeek bestseller, The 4-Hour Workweek. He was also nominated as one of Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Business People of 2007.”

Richard Jalichandra, president and chief executive officer of Technorati, is a veteran Internet executive whose media experience includes leadership roles across the media spectrum – as a client, at an agency, as a publisher and with an advertising network.

Guy Kawasaki is a managing director of Garage Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm and a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. Previously, he was an Apple Fellow at Apple Computer, Inc. Guy is the author of eight books including The Art of the Start, Rules for Revolutionaries, How to Drive Your Competition Crazy, Selling the Dream, and The Macintosh Way.

Steve Rubel is a digital marketer with over 15 years experience. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Director of Insights for Edelman Digital, a division of Edelman – the world’s largest independent PR firm. Mike Shinoda is a Japanese American musician, record producer and visual artist best known for his vocal and musical endeavors with his band Linkin Park and solo project Fort Minor. Shinoda’s band has won two Grammy Awards, sold more than 50 million albums (their Diamond-Certified debut “Hybrid Theory” has sold more than 18 million copies alone), and built a die-hard worldwide fan base through relentless touring and a powerful online presence.

Gary Vaynerchuk, a self-trained wine expert, is revolutionizing the wine industry. He’s convinced Conan O’Brien to lick salted rocks and shared samples of dirt and grass with Ellen Degeneres.
