Botanica Las Vegas Celebrates 5th Anniversary, Opens Penthouse Location at Trump Tower
Floral and event design company Botanica celebrate their company’s fifth anniversary on June 20 at their new event and wedding 64th floor penthouse location at Trump Tower.
Botanica is owned by Grammy winning artist Larry Hart and 25-year floral and event design industry veteran Michael Flach. The event will honor U.S. Representative Shelley Berkley, Gayle Anderson (chief of protocol for Governor Gibbons), realty broker Fafie Moore and Meredith Toddre (co-founder for Autism Coalition of Nevada) with a “Good Soul” award, which is a handmade shoe in a Lucite case.
This year’s honorees will be presented their awards from last year’s recipients: Nevada’s First Lady Dawn Gibbons, Dr. Parvin Modaber Jacobs, Toni Hart and Sandy Colon Peltyn.
Prior to founding Botanica Las Vegas with Hart, Flach moved to Las Vegas from Santa Barbara, Calif., to be general manager for Jon Daly, a prestigious national event design company. Flach also served as general manager for Cheryl Irwin/Chameleon Studios, and operations director and head designer for New York events when he lived there. While back East, he served as vice president of the New Jersey Floral Association.
Flach’s floral clients have included such luminaries as: Oprah Winfrey (her Legends Ball featured in “People” magazine), Halle Berry (her last wedding), Mel Gibson, “Law & Order” Impresario Dick Wolf, Kenny Loggins, Steve Martin, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, President and Mrs. George Bush, President and Mrs. George W. Bush, Madelyn Albright, Henry Kissinger and Carol Burnett
Hart is part of the successful musical Hart family that recorded 25 gospel, two country and two pop albums. As a songwriter, Hart has sold more than 30 million Gold and Platinum albums. He received his first Grammy Award nomination at age 16 and won the Grammy Award at age 19.
