Brian Culbertson’s Soulful Christmas and Toy Drive Benefiting AFAN

Boulder Station and Smooth Jazz 105.7, The Oasis, are again teaming up for Brian Culbertson’s Soulful Christmas concert and a toy drive to benefit Aid for AIDS in Nevada (AFAN).

Smooth Jazz 105.7 the Oasis will be set up in front of the Railhead at Boulder Station from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday December 12 to collect toys that will be donated to AFAN for children infected with HIV. Each person who donates a new, unwrapped toy will receive a raffle ticket which will enter them into a drawing for prizes, including a season 2009 pass to jazz shows at Station Casinos, an overnight stay at Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach, tickets to UNLV Rebels basketball and more. Founded in 1984, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) is the oldest and largest AIDS service organization in the state of Nevada. AFAN provides direct client service programs, food programs, prevention and education programs and community outreach to nearly 2,000 men, women and children infected with HIV.

Soulful Christmas is a jazz holiday show that features an all-star cast lead by jazz instrumentalist Brian Culbertson and featuring vocalists Amanda Maiden and Tony Maiden of Rufus with Tony also on guitar and saxophonist Mike Phillips.
