Glenfiddich Global Ambassador Mitch Bechard was on hand to present the only bottle of Glenfiddich 50 Year in Las Vegas to Casa Fuente which is one of only six available in the United States this year. In its second year of release only 50 bottles of Glenfiddich 50 are made per year (only 100 exist in the world) and only ten bottles currently exist in the United States. One bottle recently sold for $38,000.00.

Also on hand to taste rare scotch whisky were Jody Lawrence of William Grant & Sons and Michael Frey, Managing Partner of Casa Fuente.

Spirits Society members were also treated to a very special gift and became the first in the United States to try the Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix, a limited edition Scotch that has not yet been released. Born out of at the time an unlucky tragedy when the roof of the warehouse where the casks were stored collapsed during a winter storm, the Glenfiddich Master Distiller crafted a golden libation which is limited to 12,000 bottles worldwide.
