Celebrate “Mommy and Me” Time this Mother’s Day at Freed’s Bakery
Freed’s Bakery, a family-owned establishment of 59 years and featured bakery on Food Network’s hit show “Vegas Cakes,” will celebrate Mother’s Day with a cookie decorating class for moms and their minis on Saturday, May 12 (Pictured: Freed’s Bakery Mother’s Day Cookies).
Guided by Freed’s Bakery decorators, cookie lovers can make memories with mom during a 20-minute cookie decorating session. Classes will include an opportunity for each guest to decorate heart and flower shaped cookies with an assortment of icings and toppings.
Each “Mommy and Me” class is priced at $10 per person. Six decorating sessions will be available at 2, 2:20, 2:40, 3, 3:20, and 3:40 p.m.Space is limited, and participants must register by Friday, May 11.
Additional Mother’s Day offerings include: Freed’s signature Flower Pot for Mom, a cake decorated as a flower pot with the choice of any flavor including vanilla cake with Bavarian cream or strawberry puree, chocolate cake with Bavarian cream or raspberry puree, almond cake with Bavarian cream filling, red velvet cake with cream cheese filling, marble cake with chocolate mousse, or lemon cake with lemon mousse or Bavarian cream and strawberry puree, priced at $74.95; Mother’s Day strawberries, plump California strawberries dipped in milk chocolate and white chocolate, priced at $27 per dozen; and Canvas Cakes, a buttercream iced cake covered in white fondant with an edible marker set for a do-it-yourself gift for mom, priced at $57.15.
