For almost 30 years, Abita has been crafting a variety of brews as well as root beer just 30 miles outside of New Orleans. It’s root beer combines fresh spring water, local herbs, vanilla and pure Louisiana cane sugar. Simple and delicious. Then comes a scoop of our rich, dense and creamy frozen custard, spun fresh daily at each Shack. What’s even sweeter? Our custard contains real sugar-no corn syrup here-and is crafted from milk from dairy farmers who pledge not to use artificial growth hormones.
