Celebrate Oktoberfest and Halloween Oct. 3 – 31 with Free Entertainment

is hosting the third annual OktoberFrightFest Oct. 3 – 31, the ultimate festival that combines Oktoberfest and Halloween for a month-long street party (Pictured above: Frank & The Steins).  

The spook-tacular nightly fun and fantasy kicks off Monday, Oct. 3 and continues throughout “Oktober,” ending on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31. Fremont Street Experience will once again transform itself into the ultimate adult playground with Oktoberfest and Halloween festivities, including Viva Vision light and sound shows themed to “Time Warp” and “Monster Mash,” outdoor bars featuring beer and drink specials, the Second Annual Fall Beer Festival at Golden Nugget and three free Halloween-themed stage shows.

Live Shows during OktoberFrightFest:

“Frank & The Steins” is a live musical revue of classic Halloween songs. The cast is comprised of hot ghouls and guys; singers, dancers and live musicians performing songs including “Psycho Killers,” “Spooky,” “Time Warp,” and “Ghostbusters,” that will make audiences dance, laugh, sing and scream. “Frank & The Steins” is produced by Face Productions and choreographed by Melden Steele. “Frank & The Steins” will perform on the 3rd Street Stage Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays at 9, 10, 11 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31 at 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m.

“Alice and Ozzy’s Frightmare” draws equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical brand of rock music designed to shock. This tribute to Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne is sure to bring the spirit of Halloween to life on stage. Their performance includes a stage show that features smoke machines, a coffin, a guillotine and an electric chair. “Alice andOzzy’s Frightmare” will perform on the 1st Street Stage Sundays, Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays at 8, 9, 10 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31 at 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m.

Vampire Rising will perform three themed sets that highlight a vast repertoire. The Gothic Set includes a set list on the heavy side of rock and will include songs from Rob Zombie’s “Dragula,” Alice in Chains “Man in the Box,” and Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid.” The Pop Horror set is hosted by the “Addams Family” and will feature some of the lighter side of the macabre with hits like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and Oingo Boingo’s “Dead Man’s Party.” The third set, titled Rock From the Dead, will have the band costumed like some of our dearly departed rock stars and will regale the crowd with renditions that include Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London,” Guns & Roses “Welcome to the Jungle” and Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” Vampire Risingwill perform on the Main Street Stage Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays, at 10, 11 p.m. and Midnight and Fridays, Saturdays at 6, 7, and 8 p.m. and Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31 at 9, 10 11 p.m. and Midnight. Arena, an 80s Stadium Rock Tribute Band, will perform on the Main Street Stage on Fridays and Saturdays nights at 10 p.m.-2 a.m.

Oktoberfest:
Beer and drink specials will be available throughout OktoberFrightFest, including beer specials featuring Miller Lite and Foster’s Lager. This year Bacardi OakHeart, a new spiced rum, will be the featured liquor on Fremont Street Experience during OktoberFrightFest.

Second Annual Fall Beer Festival (Golden Nugget):
Fremont Street Experience member property Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino will host their first annual Fall Beer Festival during a two-day event on Oct. 14 & 15. This two-day festival brings together consumers, craft beer vendors, live music, great food and hundreds of beers in two very different events. The first event kicks off Friday, Oct. 14 from 7-10 p.m. in The Grand events enter. Guests will sample over 120 craft beer selections and enjoy chef-inspired appetizers while listening to live music. Tickets to this event can be purchased individually for $50. On Saturday, Oct. 15 from 3-9 p.m., The Tank, Golden Nugget’s award-winning pool and shark aquarium will host an Oktoberfest Pool Party. Admission is free and beer enthusiasts can enjoy 200 different international and domestic beers available for purchase while listening to an authentic German Oktoberfest band.

Viva Vision Schedule:
Fremont Street Experience’s Viva Vision will feature four themed sing-along/dance-along shows to “Time Warp” and “Monster Mash” each evening in October. These mini Halloween-themed shows are 3-4 minutes long and will play after regularly scheduled shows at the top of the hour.
