Celebrities to Scoop Ice Cream at Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s in Henderson April 9
Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops will be giving away free ice cream from noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 on Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day (Pictured: John Di Domenico from Totally Outrageous Brunch)
The District at Green Valley Ranch scoop shop on 2225 Village Walk Drive in Henderson will have Las Vegas entertainers and community leaders serving ice cream along with balloon artists and face painters.
The following celebrity scoopers will be handing out ice cream at the District location only: The Ladies of Fantasy and Celebrity Auctioneer Jeff Manning noon to 1 p.m.; “Tenors of Rock” Jimmy Denning 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.; Channel 13 News Anchor Tricia Kean 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Magician Murray Sawchuck, Lefty from Murray the Magician and Judge Sullivan 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.; America’s Got Talent Season 13 Finalist Daniel Emmet and Judge Sullivan 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Jennifer Romas from Sexxy, BMX Superstar Ricardo Laguna and Frankie Scinta from The Scintas 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Zowie Bowie and Vin A. from The Bronx Wanderers 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Naked Magicians and John Di Domenico from Totally Outrageous Brunch 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; along with DJ Liz Clark 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Ben and Jerry’s will also accept donations for the CASA Foundation Las Vegas. CASA trains volunteers to be legal advocates of children who are abused and neglected and deliver financial resources to address the special needs of children. April is National Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month and a time to raise more awareness about children and abuse.
