The newest concept from John Kunkel’s 50 Eggs, and the creator of The Venetian’s award-winning Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, Chica Las Vegas will feature acclaimed Top Chef Masters’ Chef Lorena Garcia’s extensive culinary education in diverse, Latin-inspired cuisine.

“Living in Miami the past 20 years, I have been surrounded by so many amazing representations of Latin cuisine,” says Kunkel. “I created Chica to bring those incredible flavors into one dining experience, and I can’t wait for the Las Vegas market to experience this new concept.”

A diverse menu will draw inspiration from classic renditions and give guests the opportunity to explore the flavors of Latin American cuisine as one culture, with influences from Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, among many more.

Joining sister restaurant Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Restaurant Row at The Venetian, Chica will be the property’s first Latin concept and the first of its kind in the Las Vegas market.

“We’re thrilled that our partner 50 Eggs has chosen The Venetian to launch this new and compelling concept,” said George Markantonis, president and COO of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “Just as Yardbird brought a new category of restaurants to Las Vegas, Chica will definitely add something noteworthy and vibrant to the city’s dining scene.”

Chica will be open daily for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch at Restaurant Row in The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reservations can be made beginning in early 2017 through OpenTable. Multiple private dining areas will offer groups space to enjoy a variety of events, from cocktail parties to large seated dinners.
