Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada Presents 3rd Annual HIV Wellness Conference

Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada, with support from Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN), will host its 3rd Annual HIV Wellness Conference on March 3-4, 2011 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference will provide the latest information and innovations for treatment, therapy, and medication options available to health care professionals, as well as, those infected/affected with HIV/AIDS.

Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada is honored to present Keynote Speaker, Jeanne White-Ginder, mother of Ryan White, during a luncheon service scheduled on Friday, March 4th. Topics covered during the conference include Women & HIV, Healthcare Reform, Current Issues in HIV Treatment, HIV & Substance Abuse, and Meditation as a Tool.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU) will be available for Nurses, Marriage and Family Therapists, Alcohol and Drug Counselors, and Social Workers. The event is open to the general public.

Registration costs for the entire 2 day event is $169 with one full day at $80. Breakfast and lunch included for all participants. Sessions begin at 9:00am daily.
