Cowabunga Bay Water Park, opening March 19, is Now Hiring over 320 Positions
Cowabunga Bay Water Park is now hiring more than 320 positions to join its team as the park gears up for its third season of 130 days of family entertainment in the Vegas valley.
The water park, opening March 19, features 23-action packed acres with over 25 family and water attractions, including the world’s largest man-made wave, Wild Surf. The ultimate family fun attraction includes the largest lazy river in Nevada, nine water slides, four surf and swim pools, and an interactive kids play area with 10 pint-sized slides and tipping buckets. Cowabunga Bay waterpark strives to enhance the guest experience with its thrilling four-person raft rides, heated pools, free life jackets, shade structures, as well as new gourmet food items to complement its refreshing park favorite, Pineapple Dole Whip.
For those seeking seasonal summertime employment, Cowabunga Bay offers a variety of positions including lifeguards, ride attendants, guest services, food service cashiers, and more. General requirements include excellent people skills, reliability, flexible availability and a minimum age of 16 by March 1, 2016. Each employee will be granted a set schedule and extended personalized training, including lifeguard accreditation, as the water park certifies all lifeguards. Food handler cards are required for all food related services. All lifeguards will be trained, certified and licensed by IAM StarGuard Elite.
