Cowabunga Bay Waterpark Celebrates Locals Fridays and Cinco de Mayo
This May, Cowabunga Bay waterpark, which features 20 slides and attractions, is offering Lucky Local Nights and celebrating a splashy Cinco de Mayo weekend party, May 5 and 6.  

The ultimate family fun waterpark attraction includes the largest lazy river in Nevada, nine thrilling water slides, four surf and swim pools, and an interactive kids play area with 10 pint-sized slides and tipping buckets.   Kids can enjoy the magical kids play area in the shallow waters of the family-friendly, Cowabunga Bay Kids Cove, where the slides and splashes are scaled down for our smaller surf dudes and dudettes and the water is always a warm, 85 degrees.   The sprawling park is opened weekends until May 24, then opened daily thru May 30.

Lucky Locals Nights:

Cinco de Mayo:

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Cowabunga Bay, May 5 & 6th from 11am – 6pm. Fiesta festivities include a Mariachi Band, entertainment with DJ’s and dancers, and free face painting & balloon animals.  Additional fiesta food items will be available for purchase including roasted street corn, tacos and margaritas (must be over 21 years of age).  Admission tickets are only $19.99 with a special coupon from local participating La Bonita Supermarkets!

Guests of all ages, may also enjoy the wide variety of dining options including, Malibu at the Boardwalk Grille, which features fresh made funnel cakes with delicious toppings to the signature park favorite, Pineapple Dole Whip and world famous treats, Beaver Tails.  Adult locals (21+) can also enjoy refreshing alcoholic beverages and specialty cocktails, such as Margaritas, Hurricanes, and more at the Bora Bora Bar.
