Cowboy Christmas Gift Show Set for December 4-13
The Cowboy Christmas Gift Show, the longest running and only official gift show of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, is set to return to Las Vegas on Thursday, Dec. 4 and will run through Saturday, Dec. 13.
Conveniently located in the North Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, at Paradise Road and Desert Inn, this year’s show features more wares to keep even the most avid shopper entertained all ten days. With more than 300,000 square feet of show floor and just under 400 exhibitors from across the United States and Canada, the show will feature unique products, including custom-made jewelry, western wear, boots and spurs, furniture, original art, handmade crafts and home goods. Attendees will also find the best source for the official Wrangler NFR and PRCA merchandise.
For those fans planning to attend the Wrangler NFR, complimentary shuttle bus service will pick up in front of the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show. This “One Way Only” route will serve as the Rodeo Express Shuttle and will run from the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall directly to the Thomas & Mack Center.
In addition to the shopping, fans will find a variety of entertainment. Throughout the day, the previous night’s Wrangler NFR performance will play on three big screen televisions and various celebrities and contestants will host autograph sessions. The Cowboy Christmas Stage will also play host to the 2008 Miss Rodeo America Pageant Contestant Introductions and Live Auction. In addition, back by popular demand, Flint Rasmussen will return as the host of “Outside the Barrel with Flint Rasmussen,” a unique variety show that will feature an impressive lineup of guests from rodeo, country music, and beyond.
“Now in its 23rd year, the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show has become a December tradition in Las Vegas, much like the NFR itself,” said Pat Christenson, president of Las Vegas Events. “The tagline for the gift show is ‘Shop all Day, Rodeo all Night.’ We hope that rodeo fans continue to enjoy the entire experience of the Wrangler NFR, and sample the great shopping and entertainment that can be found only at the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show.”
For rodeo fans looking for tickets, the NFR Ticket Exchange is held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The ticket office is open from Thursday, Dec. 4 through Friday, Dec. 12. Those looking to return tickets for resale should drop them off between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. daily. Those wishing to acquire tickets can do so from 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
