DIFFA Las Vegas and Sin Sity Sisters Present Third Annual ‘Picnic By Design’ to Benefit Local HIV/AIDS Nonprofits
DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Las Vegas, The Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and The Gay and Lesbian Center Community Center of Southern Nevada (The Center) will present the third annual Picnic by Design fundraising event at The Smith Center’s Symphony Park from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 (Pictured: Picnic by Design basket – Photo credit: Lisa McClung Photography).

Themed “Wunderland,” Picnic by Design will feature over-the-top picnic baskets for two, created by design industry professionals from Nevada and Southern California. These unique picnic baskets—and their delectable contents—will be available to attendees through a silent auction throughout the afternoon. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Center and its mission of serving the LGBTQ community of Southern Nevada.
Live entertainment will be provided by local artists including Chadwick Johnson, Jonathan Karrant, Ronnie Fabre and the Ukulele Ladies. Local food trucks, including Slidin Thru, Bone Appetit Bar-b-Que Grill, Truk-N-Yaki, Mr. Cooker LV and Dipped will also be present.
Tickets for Picnic By Design start at $75. Guests have the option to upgrade their ticket to include private cabana seating for eight guests, champagne and a desert tray for $1,000. Guests may also chose to upgrade to a $1,500 ticket that also includes take-home place settings for eight guests, in addition to everything that is included with the $1,000 ticket.
