Set for April 1st at Caesars Palace, this much-loved gala will be emceed by Kendall Tenney and features an elaborate dinner crafted by Chef Rick Moonen and a team of celebrity chefs and live entertainment by Jewel, Plain White T’s, and Bella Strings.

An annual event attended by supporters from the Las Vegas community and beyond, this year’s gala promises to be the best yet, celebrating southern Nevada’s only not-for-profit, faith-based health system’s commitment to providing humankindness. Executing the mission and principles of St. Rose, the St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation provides Helping Hands of Henderson which offers transportation assistance for those over 60 years old, Family to Family Connection that facilitates support groups and classes for parents with children up to 4 years old, R.E.D. Rose (Responsible Early Detection) that provides breast cancer screenings, treatment and support services for under-insured or uninsured women, and works in conjunction with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to raise funds for the St. Rose pediatric units to provide equipment, charity care and education to children, among many other crucial services. Founded with the goal of improving the quality of life for the entire community, the St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation has served southern Nevada tirelessly since formation in 1995.

“This year’s St. Rose Celebration promises to be a spectacular evening celebrating the hospital’s 70th anniversary as southern Nevada’s only not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system, says St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation President Charles Guida. “As the 60th annual and longest running fundraising ball in Las Vegas, the night’s entertainment will be highlighted by multi-platinum singer songwriter Jewel, VIP celebrity appearances, and exquisite food prepared by world-class Las Vegas chefs. Funds raised support St. Rose’s mission to care for all in need of quality healthcare with dignity and kindness, no matter their ability to pay.”

Promising a dining experience for the record books, this year’s culinary program will be headed by noted celebrity chefs Rick Moonen of rm seafood , Kim Canteenwalla of Elizabeth Blau + Associates , Barry S. Dakake of N9NE Steakhouse, and Saipin Chutima of Lotus of Siam.

“I’m honored to be a part of this year’s St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation Diamond Gala,” says Chef Rick Moonen. “I have so much respect for what they do for the community, and I can’t wait to work with this amazing group of chefs to make this year’s event one of a kind.”

Emceed by local personality Kendall Tenney, the evening’s entertainment will also include musical guests Jewel, Plain White T’s, and Las Vegas’ Bella Strings, as well as a silent auction.

A VIP hour with celebrity special guests will begin at 6 p.m. poolside at Caesars Palace, giving attendees the opportunity to rub elbows with former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and Marie Osmond, among others. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. with a special blessing from Bishop Joseph Pepe.
