Dos Caminos Las Vegas Gives Customers Authentic Tequila Experience
Dos Caminos Las Vegas announced today that the restaurant has been named the recipient of the Award T, a Tequila Certification Program from the Tequila Regulatory Council (Consejo Regulador del Tequila or CRT) based in Guadalajara, Mexico, in association with Tequila CAZADORES, the number-one premium tequila in the world.

The CRT selected Dos Caminos Las Vegas, to be a recipient of the AWARD T for their discerning establishments. Two days of CRT training were held at Dos Caminos along with the certification ceremony, press event, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on July 21, 2010.

The Award T program has been created to help restaurants and bars deepen their staff’s knowledge of Tequila and help them identify and serve only blue agave Tequila. It will provide restaurant staff with the tools to educate customers about Tequila and its authentic culture.

The Award T can only be issued if authentic Tequila is offered and 80% of the waiters, bartenders and the management staff of the establishment complete the training requirements that are set forth by the CRT. The businesses will also have to prominently display the brands of Tequila available by grade, offer a list of cocktails prepared with Tequila on their menu and, lastly, offer one dish made with Tequila as an ingredient.

Establishments that get certified will have access to information and support provided by the CRT that give them the tools educate staff so they can so they can accurately inform their customers and provide consumers with an authentic Tequila experience. They can also deplete tequila inventories faster as their staff enhances their knowledge and skills in selling Tequila.
