Downtown Container Park Celebrates 5 Years with Anniversary Bash Dec. 8
Downtown Container Park, downtown Las Vegas’ open-air shopping center & entertainment venue commemorates its 5th anniversary with an all-day extravaganza celebrating Downtown Las Vegas and Container Park’s achievement in fostering community and small business.

On Saturday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., Container Park will celebrate its 5th anniversary from open toclose featuring special guests, performers and live art competition. The schedule lineup for the action-packed day of entertainment will be as follows:

Brunch with Santa: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Join Santa and his helpers as he ho-ho-hosts a holiday themed brunch on The Lawn. Each ticket will allow kids and adults to enjoy bottomless brunch bites, cookie decorating, hot chocolate making and take home a custom ornament. Save on postage and whisper that Christmas wish list into St. Nick’s ear during an included photo-op. For an additional $15, adults 21 and over can make their morning merrier with all-you-can-drink mimosas.

Santa Meet-and-Greet: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Families and children are invited to check their status on Santa’s list during a meet-and-greet photo opportunity in celebration of the upcoming holidays.

ISI Canvas Battle: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Attendees are invited to witness the talented artists of local art collective ISI Group battle it out during a special addition of their ‘Off The Wall’ competitive live art challenge and raffle.

Live Music: 1 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Enjoy the various sounds of Container Park with performances from jazz enthusiasts High Altitude, young talent and downtown favorite DJ Sadako, Cameron Dettman and Sunrise Sunset, a dance number by Anna de la Strange, Music Lovers band, island-reggae masters Haleamano with Lady Reiko & Bounce and the best of the 90’s by Empire Records.

Activities: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Indulge in fun for the whole family! Guests can take on a new identity for the day as a unicorn or superhero with face painting, or create something spectacularly squishy and squeaky with balloon art. At sunset guests can wake the Mantis by joining Container Park’s famous drum circle!
