Throughout the year, Elysian Living residents and non-residents can commit to a small monthly donation that are pooled together. At year’s end, half of all funds raised benefit a charity organization designated by ELF at the beginning of the year with the other half going to a charity nominated and voted upon by the members.

The Calida Group Managing Director and Co-Founder Douglas Eisner presented a $4,000 check to Habitat for Humanity of Las Vegas’ CEO Douglas Coombs in support of their mission to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope throughout Clark County. ELF members elected the Community Cat Coalition of Clark County to receive the remaining $4,000 to assist in the elimination of senseless euthanasia of feral and free-roaming cats in the Las Vegas valley.

“We’re in the business of building not only homes, but communities that are socially engaged and involved,” said Eisner. “We are proud to be able to give back and empower others to give back through the Elysian Living Foundation. Hopefully our residents’ contribution will help change lives, one member at a time.”
