Epicurean Charitable Foundation Announces Rosé Soirée Theme for 2018 M.E.N.U.S. Event Oct. 12 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
The Epicurean Charitable Foundation (ECF) announces a Hamptons-style event for the upcoming Mentoring and Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students (M.E.N.U.S.) event, its largest annual fundraiser of the year (Pictured: Students and Board members on the M.E.N.U.S. purple carpet).

M.E.N.U.S. 2018: Rosé Soirée, will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Paradise Pool on Friday, Oct. 12, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will feature more than 50 of Las Vegas’ top restaurants, chefs, mixologists and beverage distributors. The food and beverage event of the season supports ECF’s mission of providing full college scholarships and mentorship opportunities to gifted, but underprivileged, Clark County high school seniors who are passionate about pursuing a career in the food, beverage and hospitality industry.

This year’s event will feature a gourmet dine-around, large silent auction and memorable after-party. Attendees are encouraged to dress in festive pink and white attire as they make their way around the Paradise Pool, reminiscent of a summer picnic in the Hamptons.

More than any other Las Vegas charity focused on student academic and career development, ECF provides valuable personal connections and one-on-one support to its scholarship recipients. Students receive up to $48,000 toward tuition, books and other fees and participate in the Future Leaders of Hospitality Program. In this program, each student is paired with a board member, who serves as a mentor and provides real-life guidance, support and assistance with job and internship placement upon graduation. Past ECF scholars have gone on to careers such as general manager of Nobu Hotel Las Vegas, director of financial planning and analysis for New York-New York Hotel and casino and hotel administrative manager at The Venetian.

“We can’t think of a better way to support our Las Vegas community than giving back to deserving students and empowering them with education,” said Michael Kennedy, board chairman, ECF. “At M.E.N.U.S. 2018: Rosé Soirée, guests will feast on some of the city’s best and brightest restaurants, enjoy the entertainment and create memories that will last until next year.”
