Evil Dead takes on the Undead at Las Vegas Zombie Run

The stars of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino were invited to participate in the Las Vegas Zombie Run earlier today to meet with fans, take pics, and try to survive the zombie hordes. 

After running the mile and coming out in one piece, Ash turned his attention to the Evil Dead: The Musical booth where fans were able to take pics with the star of the show as well as get their hands on tickets to this weekend’s performances.

“We love this sort of event,” said Sirc Michaels, producer of Evil Dead The Musical. “Many of our fans are here, as well as zombie lovers, and even runners just looking to try their hand at a themed run. Everyone here is having a blast, and we are proud to be a part of it.”

Cast members in attendance included Ben Stobber who plays Ash Williams, Greg Korin who plays Jake, and deadites Beau Rigbye, Shawwnie Slaughter, and Kolton Rostron. Sirc Michaels was also on-hand to keep things lively at the event.

Evil Dead: The Musical is a unique production that combines multimedia, live performance, audience participation and 4D elements to take audience members into its world. From undead ushers to blood spraying out into the audience, this musical comedy is bringing a new type of entertainment to the Vegas Strip, and the people behind it are determined to make a lasting impression. Endorsed by Bruce Campbell, blessed by Sam Raimi, and embraced by a legion of fans, this is the United States’ real-deal official live stage version of the Evil Dead film franchise. Performances can be seen at the V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino every Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 p.m.
