Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet Partners with Clark County School District for School Supply Drive
Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet is helping local students in need prepare for the 2015-2016 school year by hosting a school supply drive partnered with Clark County School District School-Community Partnership Program.
Starting Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 30, guests who donate items at Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet will receive free entry and inclusion into a raffle for the chance to win a $500 gift card to Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet.
Guests are encouraged to bring in any new school supply item. Items most needed include paper, pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, erasers, glue sticks, tissue, binders and more. All donations collected during the school supply drive will go directly to Clark County School District schools to help children who couldn’t otherwise afford these items get the education that they deserve.
“Education and the well-being of our local students and teachers is a huge priority to us,” said Doug Kays, Co-Owner of Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet. “No child should have to worry about not having the proper and necessary tools to perform their best at school.”
The School-Community Partnership Program’s mission is to enrich student experiences by connecting business and community with school resources to promote academic achievement. Programs offered to students through the School-Community Partnership Program are curriculum-based with an emphasis on human resources.
Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet is a unique marketplace of more than 450 vendor booths that offer only new or made to order merchandise. Established in 1988, Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet has served the Las Vegas community as a leader in one-stop shopping with an array of tenants that range from clothing and jewelry to exotic plants and home décor. Open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., tourists and locals can spend hours shopping around the 135,000 square feet of space with hundreds of booths and thousands of brands.
