Fitness is Sweet! Life Time Athletic Green Valley to Host Yoga Event Featuring Wine and HEXX Chocolate
Life Time Athletic Green Valley, located at 121 Carnegie St. in Henderson, has partnered with the team behind HEXX Chocolate + Confexxions to take fitness to a sweet new level with the Vino, Vinyasa and Chocolate event from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11 (Pictured: Life Time Athletic Green Valley’s outdoor pool).
The event will feature a choice between a meditative Yin yoga class, held inside the yoga studio of Life Time Athletic, or a poolside Vinyasa class at the club’s resort-style outdoor pool. Following each class, guests are invited to an exclusive wine and chocolate tasting in the tennis lounge, featuring dark chocolate samples from Nevada’s first bean-to-bar artisanal chocolate brand, HEXX.

Created in a state-of-the-art chocolate kitchen in Paris Las Vegas, HEXX’s signature dark chocolate bars are made from only two ingredients: cacao beans and organic palm sugar. Each bar is composed of more than 70 percent cacao, giving HEXX the “health food” distinction by the United States Department of Agriculture.
HEXX chocolate comes in five flavor varietals based on the cacao bean’s county of origin: Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Madagascar and Tanzania. Like fine wine, each of the varietals demonstrates a complexity of flavor that will be paired with a wine selection for guests to sample.
