“We are grateful beyond words for the generosity our community displayed through this year’s Food is Art fundraiser,” said April Mastroluca, executive director of the ALS Association Nevada Chapter. “The money raised by this event will help support so many local Las Vegans who are afflicted with ALS, a heartbreaking disease that has robbed them of their ability to walk, to talk and even blink an eye.”

Top-selling auction items include a 16-person suite at T-Mobile Arena for a Vegas Golden Knights game with catering, provided by Golden Entertainment, which earned a winning bid of $15,000; and dinner for 20 prepared in the top bidder’s home by the chefs from Aria, Bellagio and Get Fresh, including champagne and caviar, which earned a winning bid of $10,000.

A record-breaking one-day total for ALS in Nevada, the money raised will assist the non-profit organization in its mission to serve all persons and their families living with and fighting ALS in Nevada one person at a time. ALS in Nevada provides much-needed programs that offer emotional, physical, and financial assistance and currently serves 90 people with ALS in Nevada.
